  FAQ's -

1: (Q) What areas do you cover?
  (A) Cat Companions work throughout Grimsby, Cleethorpes and surrounding villages as listed on our visiting service page. Please contact us if you live outside this area as price will be by separate negotiation.

2: (Q) What experience does the cat sitter have?
  (A) Cat Companions is owned and run by Mrs Sally Bemrose who has 30 years experience of owning and caring for Cats and is a member of NARP (National Association of Registered Petsitters). Please see our homepage for more information.

3: (Q) What security precautions do you take before allowing the cat sitter to carry out home visits?
  (A) Your Cat Companion has undergone face to face interviews with the National Association of Registered Petsitters (NARP); police checks and reference checks before being able to enter into a contract with a client.

4: (Q) How much do you charge?
  (A) Please see our Pricelist page for details on the visiting service charges.

5: (Q) When do we pay you?
  (A) Cat Companions require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remainder of the balance should be paid by cheque (or cash) on the start date of your booking.

6: (Q) Is the deposit refundable?
  (A) No. The deposit ensures that you have a definite booking with Cat Companions and that the sitter will not be overbooked with other work.

7: (Q) What is involved in the initial consultation?
  (A) The initial consultation is an opportunity to meet both you and your cats in your own home. We will talk through both the physical and emotional needs of your cats and any concerns that you may have. When you make a booking we will ask you to complete a medical form for each cat as well as a home information questionnaire.

8: (Q) What if our pet is taken ill?
  (A) We ask all customers to leave a day to day contact number and emergency vet contact details as well as a signed treatment consent form and any pet insurance details that you may have. At Cat Companions we are genuine animal lovers and will not stand by if your pet is in distress.

9: (Q) What if the pet sitter is taken ill?
  (A) Your cats and home will not be left alone. In the event of an emergency a temporary replacement sitter will carry on the care of your cats and property to your specifications.

10: (Q) What if our return home is delayed?
  (A) Your Cat Companion will continue to make visits to your home. You will be charged for these additional visits on your return.
